We make premade meals all of which are made in our inspected kitchen using products from the Canning Village Meat Market. They are made in a traditional setting using fresh local products, including Huntley’s own meats and sausages – made with the love and attention given to meals that you made at home.
Taco Dip – You can start any great meal or gathering with our Taco Dip made with our daily ground beef and topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baked Beans – Our homemade baked beans are made in the long standing tradition of soaked local Jacobs Cattle Beans, drained and then slow simmered with our own maple smoked bacon, onions, molasses. The aroma will stir up memories of Mum’s homemade beans.
Chowders – Our chowders, both fish and corn, are a hearty meal to serve to friends and family. A great Maritime treat. Made with local haddock and veggies, with our very own Italian Sausages and for a slightly smoked flavor a touch of our smoked bacon.
Shepherd’s Pie – Starting with our freshly ground beef, peas, carrots and spices, topped with a delicious mashed potato and dollop of butter! Take it home, pop it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it up and you will have a hearty delicious meal in minutes.
Pizzas – Our famous take-and-bake pizzas, ready for you to pop in the oven for a quick, high-quality dinner for the entire family! Made with our own fabulous pepperoni, sausages, and other fresh ingredients.
Lasagna – Made from our freshly ground beef and lasagna noodles, generously topped with shredded mozzarella cheese. All ready for you to pop in the oven, warm up and brown ’till the cheese is bubbly!
Chicken Pot Pie – Local chicken and meat from our Meat Market are cooked slowly and added to a thickened sauce. Local potatoes are added in and placed in a 10” pie pastry and cooked for you to take home and warm up for a yummy meal.
Steak and Ale Pie – This yummy pie is made with a copious amount of our freshly cut sirloin meat simmered in a stout and hearty non alcoholic ale. Placed in a 4” pie shell and then topped with a pastry cover. All ready for you to take home and warm up for a warm hearty treat on a cold winter day!
Chili – Chili made with our freshly ground beef, and our own spicy sausages, simmered adding tomatoes, onions, beans and spices.
Corned Beef and Cabbage – For a hearty old fashioned comfort meal try our Corned Beef and Cabbage, made with our own corned beef. Pickled with our own in-shop-made brine using traditional handed down methods. Add local potatoes, carrots, turnip – and of course cabbage – and what better homemade-from-the-heart meal could you enjoy?
Chicken Wings – Huntley’s own smoked BBQ chicken wings are a seriously tasty take-home meal! Using our high quality chicken and prepared by smoking and doused in a tangy BBQ sauce, you’ll join many others raving about the amazing taste.
Huntley’s Pulled Pork – What do you get when you combine Huntley’s great pork with the talented Homemade to Home cooks? Outrageous pulled pork! You can get our savoury pulled pork by the pound or pre-made in yummy and convenient sandwiches, topped traditionally with coleslaw – if you’re quick! It’s a real best seller.
Baby Back Ribs – The best combination of our wonderful pork baby back ribs, smoked, slow-cooked, and coated with our amazing BBQ sauce. Your mouth will water, believe us! This is a great way to rock your dinner world!
Desserts and Sweets – We have desserts covered, too. Pies – apple, cherry, blueberry or mince and during the holidays pumpkin. Made with local in-season products and nestled in a flaky crust. We have cookies for the kids (or the kid in you)! Chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, molasses, salted caramel. A hard choice to make.
